Nestled in the heart of the old London, The City of London Distillery offers a cornucopia of Gin experiences from Distillery Tours, Tastings and an Evolution of Gin session. While you’re there try their excellent new release, Christopher Wren Gin. We like a lot!

Meanwhile over in West London, Mr Jake Burger, raconteur & bon-viveur of Portobello Road Gin fame, brings us the beautifully formed Ginstitute where you can make your own proprietary botanical batch of gin.

Or if you’d prefer to spred the gin love across a number of locations, the very popular Gin Journeys gives you a whirlwind tour of top London Gin locations, with a drink of many along the way.
A great evening out!

Let’s face it, Gin is primarily about the botanicals.
The Gin Garden is a pop-up experience specialising in using local herbs, fruits and flowers to produce delicious libations and showcase the work of local distillers.
A  beautiful experience!

GINNY-GINNY -GIN-GIN

If all this reading and listening malarkey isn’t to your tastes, then let’s get down to the nitty gritty of our top Gin recommendations for this festive period.

Kew Royal Botanic Gardens

I have to admit to sometimes suffering ‘Juniper-fatigue’ from all the new Gins cropping up weekly. However this one has me properly excited again, like a kid on Christmas morning (see what I did there?)
Kew Organic Gin is the love-child of a collaboration between Kew Royal Botanic Gardens and the people behind the delicious Dodd’s Gin.
The first release is limited to 1,000 bottles, and avialable exclusively from Master of Malt.

Drinks by the Dram Gin Crackers

Drinks By The Dram bring you Gin Christmas Crackers!!!!
Yes, you read that right, each box contains six crackers with a different 3cl dram of gin, a party hat and, of course, a crap joke. After Christmas dinner drinks are sorted.

Sacred Christmas Pudding Gin

Sacred Gin win Christmas for me with this absolutely inspired creation!

“We actually made 48 kg in 2015 of my great aunt Nellie’s recipe – steamed for 8 hours and then macerated with English grain spirit, Juniper berries and then redistilled for a refreshing alternative to stodgy puddings –  serve from the freezer after the Turkey!”

HAPPY GINMAS ONE AND ALL!!!!
