HIDETSUGU UENO – INTRODUCTION OF JAPANESE BARTENDING & ICE CARVING, BAR HIGH FIVE, TOKYO
Among many other recognitions, Ueno won the title “International Bartender of the Year” at the Spirited Awards at Tales of the Cocktail 2016. He is the vice president of the Association of Bartenders of Nippon. He has been the owner of the bar High Five in Ginza, Tokyo since 2009, which every year has been considered one of the best bars in the world.

HARRY KOHLMANN – ROUTE-TO-MARKET STRATEGIES FOR SPIRITS IN THE US, PARK STREET
Dr. Kohlmann is the CEO of Park Street, a provider of productivity-enhancing and cost-saving back-office solutions, advisory services, and working capital to more than 1,000 alcoholic beverage brands from the U.S. and around the world.  The company’s clients range from entrepreneurs to multi-brand global suppliers, and include craft distillers, centuries-old family businesses, award-winning wineries, innovation brands, and more.  Formerly, Dr. Kohlmann was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company where he worked extensively in the fast moving consumer goods sector in North America and Europe with a specialty in alcoholic beverages.

CHARLOTTE VOISEY – FEMALE BARTENDERS THROUGHOUT HISTORY, WILLIAM GRANT & SONS, USA.
Best American Brand Ambassador, two times Golden Spirit Award winner at Tales of the
Cocktail and recognized by the James Beard recognition for contribution to mixology, Charlotte
Voisey is the Director of Advocacy for William Grant & Sons USA.
Host of The Proper Pour with Charlotte Voisey on www.smallscreennetwork.com, Charlotte has
cocktail recipes published and placed on menus across the world including New York’s famed
PDT, the iconic Dorchester Hotel in London and Whitechapel in San Francisco.
In 2006 Charlotte officially made the move stateside to represent her favourite spirit, Hendrick’s Gin.
Charlotte was named inaugural Mixologist of the Year for Wine Enthusiast Magazine and
previously won the silver medal at the World Female Bartender Championships in Italy.

CARMEN VILLAREAL CEO CASA SAN MATÍAS
Carmen Villarreal is the owner and has been the CEO of Casa San Matías since 1997. She has been interested in seeking the innovation and quality of the products that she produces, her management has contributed to the consolidation of the company that over more than 130 years has positioned Casa San Matias as one of the most important tequila distilleries in the country.
During the 20 years of her administration, his leadership has been characterized by seeking the integral development of his collaborators and a company based on values, honouring the Mexican culture and traditions through the elaboration of the finest tequilas.

HÉCTOR SRNA GARIBAY – ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALISM: ANOTHER NECESSARY VISION FOR THE WORLD OF SPIRITS, WILLIAMS & HUMBERT
Héctor Garibay has worked in the hospitality industry since 2004 in cities such as Chicago, Riviera Maya, Monterrey and CDMX. Nowadays he is the ambassador of  Williams & Humbert, company whose distillate portfolio is one of the most awarded in recent years. This seminar will discuss how climate-geographic factors and design that complements the spirit, affects its qualities and properties. There will also be a discussion of the relationship between aesthetically apt functional design and the influence it has on the operation, administration and projection of a bar. Aimed primarily at entrepreneurs or industry investors and those interested in creating, remodeling or supplementing A & B concepts.

JACK MCGARRY – DEAD RABBIT, NY
Jack is most renowned for Dead Rabbit in Lower Manhattan, which he opened and manages with Sean. The bar has won eight Spirited Awards from Tales of the Cocktail, including World’s Best Bar, World’s Best Cocktail Menu (twice) and International Bartender of the Year. Dead Rabbit was also voted World’s Best Bar at the World’s 50 Best Bar Awards in London.

DANIEL PASTOR & GUSTAVO ORTEGA – THE FUTURE OF MEZCAL: INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY, ZIGNUM
In this seminar we will talk about how the mezcal process has evolved and how it has marked its presence at an international level, emphasizing the innovation and sustainability of CAGP. Daniel is a mixologist and global national ambassador of Zignum. He is currently the as national ambassador for all brands of Casa Armando Guillermo Prieto, the largest mezcal producer in Mexico. Gustavo, while helping her mother in the kitchen, learned the importance of using the best and freshest ingredients in the garden. She explained each item to him and described what they represented as he added them to the plate. This was how Gustavo understood how to balance and improve flavors.

JOSE LUIS LEÓN – LICORERÍA LIMANTOUR, MEXICO CITY
With a degree in Tourism from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Martínez has been working in the service industry for 11 years. Considered one of the best bartenders in Mexico, he won first place at World Class Mexico in 2010, which allowed him to participate in the global competition in Athens. That same year he represented Mexico in the the top ten of the 38 participant countries at the Grand Prix in Cuba. By 2012 he had won first place in the Tradición y Vanguardia competition run by Gonzalez Byass and has been a finalist in national competitions like Bacardi’s Legacy.
In 2014 he won a global recognition at the renowned Tahona Society Cocktail Competition and a national recognition at Bols Around the World in 2013. Two years later he took third place at the Diplomático World Tournament in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. He currently works as the Bar Manager at Limantour, the leading cocktail bar in Mexico City, which has been on the list of the The World’s 50 Best Bars for three consecutive years and was selected as one of the best bars in Latin America in 2015 and 2016, taking 20th and 13th place respectively.
